Do you ever wonder about what would happen if Fiverr’s bloggers, graphic designers, movie makers, voice over artists, illustrators, animators, editors, developers, and musicians got together in one room? We have, too—and we are going to make it happen! Fiverr has launched a new community program, and here in NYC we’re putting some amazing things in motion! Fiverr’s Community Program takes our colorful world of buyers and sellers and gives them the chance to make useful connections, learn new skills, and, most importantly, make Fiverr an even more engaging marketplace. If you have ideas on how to make Fiverr better, joining a community team is a great way to voice your opinion and work with other community members. We are already planning events, workshops, and socials that will boost visibility for both buyers and sellers, as well as bring our diverse talents and creativity together in fun and meaningful ways.
On Tuesday, November 22, 2016, the New York City team had its first meeting at the Fiverr office. It was amazing to see New York-based buyers and sellers coming together to meet, exchange business ideas, and get to know one another. Members of the Community Team who had never visited the NYC office got to see how Fiverr operates. After that smashing success, we are excited to announce our first community-driven holiday social!
Please join us on Thursday, December 15 at the New York City Fiverr office at 6:30PM. You’ll enjoy refreshments as well as the chance to network and participate in our FREE raffle, where gig packages will be offered as prizes! RSVP here—but hurry! Tickets are limited. A Fiverr Workshop is also in the works for January 2017 to educate buyers and sellers on how to professionalize profiles, improve communications, polish gigs, and make Fiverr a better marketplace for everyone. Stay tuned for upcoming Fiverr community events in NYC and beyond!Cheers,Bruce Chamoff and Mocha Brown, Fiverr NYC Community LeadersWhat kind of community events would you like to attend?
