We’ve got some great news, there’s a new addition to your seller toolkit: Vacation Mode! Starting today, when you’re about to leave on vacation, or need some time off, you can use Vacation Mode to let buyers know that you’re away and when you’ll return. Vacation Mode is easy to use and lets you take some time off from Fiverr® without worrying about what will happen with your Gigs®.
1. Go to “My Gigs” and use the Vacation Mode switch to turn the feature on.
2. After Vacation Mode is switched on, a form appears to let you select the message you want buyers to see and the length of time you’ll be away. You can choose up to 28 days per year. Click “Done”, and you’re set for your vacation.
3. Buyers who visit your Gig page will see the message you selected and can request to be automatically notified when you return.
NOTE: When you turn Vacation Mode on, all of your active Gigs are automatically suspended.
When you return from your vacation, simply go to “My Gigs” and switch off Vacation Mode. All of your Gigs will go back to the way they were before you left. Buyers who requested notification will receive an email message stating that you have returned.
There you have it. A quick and easy way to improve your communication with buyers and preserve your Gigs and ratings when you need to take some time off.
