Nadeem Yousaf (aka Pintoo0) is a Fiverr Pro from Faisalabad, Pakistan. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Pintoo followed his passion of creating quality websites. Tell us about your Fiverr journey.

2013 was a rough year for my family. We relied heavily on my father for financial support. For over 35 years, he was the Senior Manager at a garment firm. He came home from work one day and told us that he had resigned because the owner of the company no longer believed he was the right person for the job. After 35 years his company provided no pension or financial support.

This was one of the most difficult times of my life. I lost sleep thinking about the future of my family. I had no idea how I was going to pay my bills and our house was filled with tension. I was still in school, so getting a full-time job wasn’t really an option, then a friend had mentioned a new platform called Fiverr. I decided to give it a shot.

After a quick search, I was immediately impressed by the profiles of so many talented sellers. They were doing extraordinary work on Fiverr. I knew it was something I had to be a part of, so I signed up and created my very first development Gig. I got my first order of $25 and received my first positive all within the same day. I was so excited - this was the first time I had earned my own money.

Describe some of your favorite projects. Developing a good relationship with my buyer is always a top priority. My rating is the result of maintaining steady communication and producing quality work. One of my repeat buyers has not only ordered 17 Gigs -- but she’s also tipped me on each order! The key to succeeding on Fiverr is excellent communication, quality work, and exceptional customer service. After 900+ completed orders, I have maintained a 100% rating. Hard work pays off.

How have your skills grown since joining Fiverr?

After joining Fiverr, I experimented with different Gigs to see what worked best for my clients and myself.  I  learned how to build websites, so I focused my offerings on Wordpress development. It was not an overnight success. I attended college during the day and completed Fiverr orders in the evening. I also joined the Fiverr community forum, which helps a lot.

Fellow Fiverr sellers share tips to help me grow my business. I explored different tools provided by Fiverr as well. I’ve found that the Triple Gig Packages helps me earn more than a basic $5 Gig. I also find the Fiverr Academy to be a great resource for Sellers in the very early stages of their business journey.

Any advice for newcomers?

Many sellers from the community forum ask how to succeed on Fiverr. Here is my advice:

  • Focus on quality, not quantity.
  • Communication is key, always keep your client up to date.
  • Ask questions - make sure expectations, timelines, and objectives are always understood.
  • Use tools like the Forum to learn more about Fiverr’s capabilities.
  • Always be professional. It’s important to treat your Fiverr account like a business.
  • Learn from your mistakes.
What impact has Fiverr made on your life?

Fiver has had an incredible impact on my life. Before becoming a Fiverr Pro Seller, I didn’t have any of my own money, and now I’ve earned over five figures. My Fiverr earnings helped support my family during a very difficult time.

I’m also no longer losing sleep over paying my bills, tuition, or additional expenses. The happiness it has brought to my family, especially my father (who is now running his own garment export agency) is priceless. I’ve accomplished so much in only three years, and can’t wait to see what happens next.
