Fiverr x Launch It

Launch It, a leading enterprise charity and Enterprise Nation, the UK’s largest small business network, have joined forces to deliver the Next Generation program. Funded by the UK Government, the program sets out to support at least 3,000 underrepresented young people by providing them with access to essential entrepreneurship skills and training to help them start their own business, or grow their existing venture.

Fiverr has partnered with Launch It to support the Birmingham project which will run from September ’22 to March ’23 and will support 1,000 young entrepreneurs via the Enterprise Nation platform. Here they can access:

  • Peer networks to connect with each other
  • E-learning courses on how to start a business
  • Connections to advisers and mentors
  • Online content and events
  • Diagnostic tools and action plans

A selection of 50 high potential entrepreneurs will also benefit from more in-depth training, peer  mentoring and 1:1 advice as part of a more intensive bootcamp training.

Fiverr is partnering on the Birmingham Next Generation program to provide £15,000 in Fiverr Business credits. In addition, Fiverr is providing the following to the 50 young entrepreneurs participating in the bootcamp training:

  • An introductory session on Fiverr Business delivered by a Customer Success Manager.
  • A personalized roadmap with recommended services and freelancers to optimize credit usage, see below.

During the introductory Fiverr session with the entreprenerus, Fiverr user and Cambridge Spectacle Co. CEO, Ahmed Ejaz, talked about his personal experience using Fiverr to build his eyewear startup. Click here to learn more. Our lead Customer Success Manager also walked entrepreneurs through the Fiverr Business platform during this sessions and led a Q&A alongside Ahmed.

Fiverr is also providing the following to 5 pitching finalists at the end of the program.

  • 1:1 calls with a Fiverr Customer Success Manager to help with additional matchmaking services and utilization of their credits.
  • One free Fiverr Learn course of their choice.

This kickstarter is one of the many social impact programs Fiverr is currently running, and fits under the focus area of championing global opportunity on both sides of the marketplace.
