Here is the story of DancingDror, a Fiverr seller who turned into an online celebrity overnight:
We each have a special talent, as our mothers always knew – No doubt about it. Dror advertised his special talent on Fiverr just a few days ago, and it turned out to be a sweeping success. What’s his gift? You may have guessed it from his title, Dror is a dancer. Well, a unique dancer.
Dror went on Fiverr and offered to advertise whatever you want on his stomach and dance for 30 full seconds in front of the camera. He was contacted by one buyer who was immediately interested in his services. She had a message she wanted to get across in a memorable way – and memorable it was; this was the result:
We asked Dancing Dror how he got the idea for his gig and this was his response:
I was always the star at parties. When I started dancing, I would make a lot of heads turn, which made me understand that I’m a special dancer in some way. Then my friend who makes money on Fiverr suggested we start a gig where I dance and advertise something on my stomach. I wasn’t sure it would work but said I’m willing to try… at least we’ll have some fun together. No doubt I was wrong about one thing, it does work!
After the dance was made and sent, and with the help of this very pleased buyer who posted the dance on her blog over at Regretsy, Dror’s services became an immediate hit.
375 hilarious comments later (seriously, you got to read those comments!), he received 170 orders in 2 days which means he now has more work than he had dreamed of when he first published his gig. We cannot agree more with the Regretsy Community: DancingDror is a star. But Dancing Dror’s fast lane into becoming a celebrity did not stop there. It turned out that his gig made it to the Facebook page of Conan O’Brian’s Team Coco. A gig gone wild!
So what’s the moral of the story kids? It’s a very optimistic one: don’t be shy, be authentic. Share that special, fun talent you have in a way that will benefit others, and you too can monetize it.

All you need is an innovative idea, something people like/need. Not sure what you’re good at? Ask yourself what you enjoy doing, and what you may be good at. Also look at other gigs that may get you some new ideas. In the end you’ll figure out what people need and what they don’t. And even if you don’t make a lot of money, you may just find a talent you didn’t know you had
