Fiverr has just secured $15 million in a second round of funding from a group of amazing venture capitalists, Accel Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners. Following previous financing led by Bessemer Venture Partners and angels Guy Gamzu and Jonathan Kolber, we’ve now raised a total of $20 million.
Both Accel and Bessemer have a track record of investing in disruptive consumer Internet companies such as Etsy, Kayak, Wonga, Dropbox, Spotify, Skype, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Yelp.
We’re so proud to share our continued growth with the whole Fiverr community. Since the beginning of 2011, we’ve grown 600% in transactions, now work with sellers across more than 200 countries, and list over 750,000 awesome and unique gigs on the site. Together, we are truly changing the way the world works – and it’s just the beginning!
Today’s funding will support our continued company and product growth, so that we can quickly develop and provide you with more features, tools and services to help you grow your business on Fiverr.
