Nogalicious is a Fiverr seller with a hit gig. She promises: “I will give you instant relief from sadness or stress for $5“. That, of course, immediately caught our attention. People are often skeptical when they come across such offers. But Nogalicious, soon after first offering her gig, had buyers storming in, buying, and leaving extremely positive reviews. That’s why we picked her as the first Fiverr user to share their own personal Story our blog. Nogalicious was generous to accept the challenge.

In the Beginning
I created my Nogalicious profile and posted several gigs in June of 2010, and watched with curiosity to see which ones would be most popular. “I will call you to tell you that I love you”, “I will tell you how I got 2,975 Facebook friends”, and “I will give you instant relief from sadness or stress” topped the charts. But I didn’t realized just how special this would be for my clients.
The Hit
Because of the nature of my “stress-relief” gig, I’ve received some gorgeous and candid emails via Fiverr, from USA, UK, Australia, India, Canada, Italy, the Philippines and more, pouring out their feelings unto me, the perfect “stranger”. As a coach, seeing the life-changing results in my clients for years, I knew that it was an amazing product when I created it, but I didn’t know just how touching it would be for my clients, and especially how powerful it could be for someone who’d never talked to me and only paid $5.
It’s All About Human Contact
This made me realize on a deeper level how precious human contact is. I sense that my Fiverr clients just feel so supported to know that I am listening and that I care. It makes me wonder what kind of community support most people in the world have. I feel so blessed to be of service in this way. In fact, people have gone so far out of their way to receive support.
The British Client
I had one client in the UK email me that he really wanted to get my “I will call you to tell you that I love you” gig but he felt badly buying the gig and asking me to call him in the UK all the way from California, knowing that it would likely cost me more than $5 to make the call!
Guess what I got the following week? In my inbox was the familiar & sweet Fiverr email (“We have awesome news for you! Someone has ordered your gig!”) That gentleman in the UK had purchased my gig and *also* gotten a new cell number, that was USA-based, so that I could fill his order easily!
There’s Still Love
In today’s automated and e-world, there still is love! We just need to know where to find it. I’m so thankful to Fiverr for creating the connections and context for me to be able to share my love, joy and true compassion with my clients all around the world!
