The Easter Bunny is, like, so mainstream!

Don’t get us wrong we love Easter, obvi!

What’s not to love? Spring is in the air and it’s time for new beginnings, but most importantly it means… chocolate eggs!

It’s just that darn Bunny.

So, this year we’ve broken out the vintage tees, Wayfarer glasses à la Buddy Holly, and ironic mustache to give the fur-ball a 2013 makeover.

You heard us right… we are proud to introduce Fiverr’s latest Easter edition,
‘The Hipster Hares’.

These rad rabbits are taking geek chic to the next level and giving away prizes while they’re at it!

Every day from now until Easter one or more of the Hipster Hares will be hiding in a tweet sent from our new Fiverr Twitter account (@Fiverr). All you have to do to win is:

bookreviewstew (a.k.a. Mike), is one of our Top Rated Sellers. About 1 year ago, he started his business on Fiverr selling video services such as birthday greetings and promotional videos.
 
An actor, Mike lived in Los Angeles for 7 years. He appeared in dozens of commercials including Pizza Hut, Coors and Sprint among others. He also had small roles in “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” (opposite Brad Pitt), “Collateral” (opposite Tom Cruise), “The Shaggy Dog” (opposite Tim Allen).
 
In Martin Scorsese’s “The Aviator” Mike played Cary Grant. But he told us that his favorite role was on “Oceans 12″, where he played the Faberge Egg expert. He’s the one who sets up the Egg display the day before Clooney and the gang steal it.
How cool is that?!
 
In 2009, Mike and his wife decided they didn’t want to raise their kids in L.A. so they left California and moved to Colorado.

Attention all Fiverrers, thanks to you 2012 was an enormous year for us all. With a 190% increase in sales, we’ve continued to stake our claim as leaders in the services market. We have also expanded our offering from 12 to 120 categories of services, with an increase in demand for services such as personalized gifts, graphic design, music and audio, programming and tech, video and animation, writing and translations and so many more.

We also want to say hey to our new Vice President of Growth, strategic marketing veteran, Ayesha Ahmad. (All together now) – “Hi Ayesha!”

She is heading up our NYC HQ. Ayesha was previously the co-founder and CMO of Trunkt, a successful marketplace for designer goods which was acquired by Etsy in 2012. In the past, she also led marketing strategy for companies such as Gilt Group and J. Crew. At Fiverr, she will be responsible for growth marketing initiatives focusing on our continued global expansion, fostering community, and accelerating Fiverr’s market position.

In a nutshell she’ll be working hard to make sure you have more incredible Gigs to choose from, and make more money with Fiverr. Sounds good?

anarcho (as I like to call him), first joined Fiverr as a buyer and has now been selling Gigs for about one year. He offers specialized business services such as helping you get local media coverage and copywriting.

“I bought a house with my Fiverr money!”

 

Anarcho says, “In many ways, not only did the money I spent to purchase the house come from Fiverr, the inspiration did as well.” With the housing economy what it is today, anarchofighter found a great deal and was able to work with the bank to purchase the house for less than was owed by previous owners and even less than it’s worth.

The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 and a quarter bath, brick ranch with a full attic and basement (both unfinished).

amitbt has been offering writing and internet marketing services on Fiverr for about 2 years.

A lawyer with a B.A. in Economics and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Amit’s been working in marketing for 10 years. He first discovered Fiverr as a buyer and soon after started offering his services. About 8 months after he started selling Gigs, Amit was able to quit his day job and now makes his living from Fiverr.
