As a marketplace that prioritizes speed, affordability, and quality, Fiverr is always on the lookout for ways we can do for good. This holiday season, we wanted to use the power of our marketplace to help organizations doing good across the globe.
That's why we've partnered with GivingWay, a leading online platform that provides volunteers from all over the world with the opportunity to work with over 2,000 nonprofits in 120 countries.

Through GivingWay’s network of nonprofits, we will provide hand-vetted organizations like Eco-Soap Bank and Helen Keller International Vietnam with top-tier Fiverr Pro services in order to solve some of their most pressing business and creative needs.

Why We’re Giving Back

Nonprofits are often in need of creative services but lack the financial resources required to bring top talent in-house. Organizations often feel morally obligated to ensure that most of the money they raise is spent helping people directly. As a result, many not-for-profit organizations find themselves missing critical expertise in areas such as social media strategy or web development.

They may also need help with grant writing, document translation, and even one-off graphic design projects, but often have to make do without it. We don’t think they should have to. Our network of accomplished Fiverr Pro sellers seized the opportunity to leverage their skills to help nonprofits achieve their goals.

Providing world-class professional services to both Eco-Soap Bank and Helen Keller International Vietnam is just the beginning. In the coming months, we plan to connect thousands of nonprofits through GivingWay with the talented freelancers on the Fiverr marketplace.

We also plan to give anyone in the world the ability gift much-needed services to incredibly worthy organizations doing important work. There are, of course, countless worthy organizations and causes to champion, so selecting just two was our first challenge. We chose Eco-Soap Bank and Helen Keller International to be the first nonprofits to receive digital services, as both groups work tirelessly to improve the lives of disadvantaged individuals around the world.

Eco-Soap Bank

Eco-Soap Bank is a humanitarian and environmental non-profit organization working to save, sanitize, and supply recycled hotel soap for the developing world. By recycling soap from over 1,000 hotels across the globe, the organization has employed over 100 disadvantaged women to process the soap and distribute it to areas in need, with over 1 million people to be impacted by the end of this year.

Eco-Soap Bank Founder, Samir Lakhani, was even a winner of the 2018 CNN Hero Award.“As a start-up non-profit, we’re especially short on resources, with 100% of our focus on saving lives. With Fiverr Pro services, we’ll be able to focus on executing our charitable mission while leaving digital tasks like design and marketing to the professionals.” – Samir Lakhani, Executive Director, Eco-Soap Bank

Helen Keller International Vietnam

Helen Keller International (HKI) is an international organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of the most vulnerable by combating the causes and consequences of blindness, poor health, and malnutrition. For this initiative, we’ll be providing digital services specifically for the HKI Vietnam office, which focuses on offering services related to vision and nutrition.

As of this year, over 250,000 vision screenings have been provided to school children and teachers, and 20,000 pairs of eyeglasses were donated and subsidized to under-resourced children and ethnic minorities in rural areas. Also, through multi-sectoral approaches and partnerships, HKI programs are designed to generate long-lasting improvements in nutrition and health as well as household food security, climate resilient agriculture, economic livelihoods, and gender equity.

“The welfare of each is bound up in the welfare of all.”

At HKI, we believe that everyone, even the most disadvantaged deserves to live to their fullest potential, we will work with partners to help those most in need attain the tools and resources needed to help themselves," said Pham Kim Ngoc, Director, Helen Keller International VietnamWe look forward to introducing the amazing Fiverr Pro sellers who will provide much-needed freelance services for these nonprofits. Check back soon to see the results of their hard work. More to come early next year!
