Our creative community have been drawing media attention since we launched Fiverr two years ago. So, we decided that it was time to set up a press room to keep track of all the awesome stories written about our users and the company.
We also included a press kit with Fiverr logos and brand usage guidelines. For fun, we added some of our photos to the top banner of the press room – so be sure to check us out!
We’re super excited to announce Fiverr Collections – the new way to save, organize and share your favorite gigs.
With over 650,000 gigs already posted and thousands of new ones being posted each day, Collections makes it easier to discover and navigate through the mass of services offered on Fiverr.
Sure, you are already bookmarking the gigs you like, but if you’re like us, you probably already have so many starred gigs that it’s hard to find what you want, when you want it.
Collections offer a great way to organize your favorite gigs into groups BUT that’s not all, with Collections you’ll be able to see gigs that other people organized, bought, shared and grouped into categories and tags.
Collect gigs you like and use
To save a gig into a collection, click on the new heart icon and pick or create the collection you want it saved in.
What happens if you like a Collection someone else made? No problemo! Just hit the “follow” button and you’re all set. Now you can easily find it on your Collections page, and even see changes made by it’s original collector.
A new way to discover gigs
Collections are displayed all over the site, including in search results. When you’re looking to buy something, you can check out what other users collected.
Collections’ Popularity
You can easily check the popularity of your collection with the stats bar.
Share!
You already tweet each time you go to the bathroom, right? So why not be a trendsetter and share the collections you think are best with your BFF’s on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Google+
Adding tags and a good description will help you improve your Collections’ exposure (plus good karma).

All you need to do to be considered for this fully moderated section is add the tag ‘valentine’ or ‘valentines’ to your Gig. Our gorgeous, bunny tailed content team will be checking out your submissions daily to find suitable Gigs for the Fiverr love machine.

We’re kicking off 2012 with a major new feature on Fiverr that is going to be a game-changer for many of you!
The code-ninjas at Fiverr HQ have been working relentlessly, preparing an arsenal of tools to enable even more sellers with the ability to make more money. There are so many hard working entrepreneurs out there striving to deliver top quality Gigs and be Fiverr’s very best, that we can now recognise for their hard work and dedication with our biggest upgrade to Gig selling since… EVER?!
Fiverr heavyweight Professor Puppet stepped up to the role of presenting a short introduction. He’s a great example of a user that has built up a successful Fiverr business from scratch, utilising the tools available to offer high quality Gig content to thousands of happy buyers.
Ladies and gentleman, we bring to you: Fiverr Levels! [Take it away, Professor.]
Excited much? Knew it! Let’s talk details.
Resources previously available to just a handful of selected Top Sellers are now being opened up to the entire Gigging community via Fiverr Levels. There are three different Fiverr Levels as Professor Puppet explained. These are named Level 1, Level 2 and Top Rated Seller.
As you become eligible for these different Levels you will unlock an array of money making tools to use at your disposal. As you continue to grow as a seller on Fiverr, you’ll unlock more features that’ll help you make even more money!
We’ve broken them down for you here:
Yes we know, you’re salivating at the prospect of adding Extras to your Gigs and being able to accept multiple purchases. As long as you’re active on Fiverr and making sales, whilst meeting the above criteria then you can expect to receive an email very soon notifying you on your updated Level 1, 2 or Top Rated Seller status.
You’ll also notice that we’ve given the user interface a facelift in some key areas, improving the overall look of your Gigs and user pages. We won’t show you here, but hope you like the changes!

It’s December already and Christmas is coming!
It’s just as well that our ultra cool team of techie bods were on the ball and have already installed a nifty little Christmas and Holidays section in our categories menu.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive and creative way to buy gifts this Christmas then Fiverr is your one-stop shop to happiness. Our beloved users have already started coming up with zany Gig ideas keeping in with the season. We’ve seen a dancing Ms Santa, a singing angel, a beatboxing elf and even Santa himself (although we’re not sure about that beard.)

Ah yes, here come the holidays, and Santa isn’t the only one coming to town this year. In the spirit of the season we are introducing a Gigtastic new feature that will enable you to give the unique gift of Fiverr for friends or loved ones.
Seriously, this is cooler than Santa’s fridge!
Introducing: Fiverr Gift Cards
If you’re anything like me, you usually wait until the very last minute to get your holiday presents. I find that 4:30PM on December the 24th is a great time to go shopping. Who wants to deal with the dangers of going to the store on Black Friday? Who wants to risk being trampled by people looking for this year’s hot holiday gift? This year, why not give the gift of Fiverr?
Here’s how it works:
Fiverr Gift Cards can be purchased for $5, $20, and $50, this way you get to choose how much you really care. It’s not like Joe from work and your girlfriend or boyfriend are equally important to you, right?
To purchase a gift card, first login to your Fiverr account. See that fancy new button on the homepage of Fiverr? (above) Click it. You will be taken to the order page:
Fill out the required information and click “Continue”
Looks pretty neat, right?
Your friend or loved one will receive a cool email showing a Fiverr Gift Card, along with a personalized message. The email will include a link to sign in to Fiverr and redeem their gift card. If they are not already a Fiverr user, they can click the link and register. Once logged in with their new or existing Fiverr account, the gift card funds will be in the “My Shopping” tab.
It’s that simple!
So this year, don’t get stuck frantically trying to find a gift last minute, or getting something lame that will be returned the next day. What do you get for the person who has everything? The answer is The Fiverr Gift Card. Spread the holiday cheer with the gift that keeps gigging!

We recognise that sometimes messages from certain buyers or sellers need a revisit or followup later on. This is why we’ve released the new ‘Starred’ filter section in your inbox. Simply click on the star to the left of the message and it’ll be automatically included in the Starred filter tab.
Surely by now you’re bedazzled by the stars you’re seeing! Well we’ve got one more improvement to show you, and you guessed it – More of those wonderful stars!
The pretty red heart that you’ve grown oh so used to loving is being upgraded to a shiny new star, but otherwise, this feature remains as cool as it was.
And that pretty much completes today’s launch. We’ve been having a blast @ Fiverr HQ playing with all the new starry features and are sure you’ll make the most of them too!

We have fast food, right? We have on demand TV, right? We’ve even been known to divulge ourselves to a little bit of instant pizza delivery at times. Well now, we can get that very same service on Fiverr… well, sort of.
Introducing Fiverr Express Gigs:
Starting from today this brand new feature will be available on Fiverr which is going to speed things up a little bit for everybody. Gigs with lead times under 24 hours, 2 or more sales and positive feedback of 95% or more will be automatically included in Express Gigs. Additionally, sellers will also be required to have an overall rating of 90% or over – so keep getting those positives :-)
Check out the brand stats bar we’ve designed for all Gig pages which will coincide with the release of the Express delivery option. Pretty snazzy huh?
So whether you’re late on buying someone’s birthday present or just too damn impatient to wait any longer than 24 hours to spend your five bucks, head on down to the Express Gigs page on Fiverr.com and see what funky stuff is on offer.
