How impressed were we with our first ever mobile phone ringtone?
Remember.. that monotonous beeping that barely managed to create a tune?! Nostalgia aside, all it was good for was starting small headaches and setting off the neighbourhood dogs.
Over the years the ringtone has grown and evolved into… well… whatever we want it to be really. Anything goes, from our favourite songs to recordings of our friends shouting our names.
You can walk through any street of any city and hear a symphony of sounds coming out of everyone’s back-pockets & handbags.
We wanted to give the ringtone a special Fiverr spin. In a nutshell, make it awesome, original & personalized for $5.
So we sent Liron, a fellow Fiverr-er, on a quest to make a super cool custom ringtone.
10 minutes on Fiverr and he did just that. He found a Gig where a talented singer creates the ringtone by singing an original tune with lyrics you write.
Liron wrote the lyrics, ordered the Gig and less than 24 hours later, he had a brand new ringtone waiting for him.
Here’s the ringtone Liron bought:

We’ve now smashed Liron’s phone since instead of answering calls… he’d just let it ring to hear the song play out.
