Sellers, if you haven’t assigned a subcategory to your Gigs, it’s too late now…. ok no it’s not … but you really need to get on it! Now that we’re live your Gigs will be harder to find if they are not subcategorized.

You do it in each individual gig, which can be found in ‘My gigs’. Enjoy!
I can’t find subcategories in my individual gig. Only category there. Please help me here.

Just go to your profile, find your gig and click the ‘Edit’ button. At the top where your categories are, you’ll see a new subcategory list next to categories.

Already assigned some when we got that e-mail “pre-announcement” days back. Hoping more orders come in-I’ve only had 3 between all the gigs I’ve posted.

:D This is going to be great! But I don’t see my Stop Motion gig in the Stop Motion search page. Then after the 56th gig result, I click the “more…” icon, the icon swirls but returns to the “more…” icon.
^_^ happy when using this new features but until now no order (almost 1week no order ) :(

No point!! before sub categories come i had lots of orders because i had my gig on first page for the targeted keyword. still it has in the first page but another competitor bought a gig from a fake profile and left a big capital letter negative feedback. even after giving him refund he doesn’t respond to remove feedback or fiverr doesn’t help me :) no orders today. hope there will be no more :( still my gig on first page for the keyword

Seems great, however what can we old sellers do when someone or new sellers just copy and paste our gigs word for word thus stealing the sales that are supposed to go to us? Is there anything we or you can do about it? Lots of competition and the same gigs all over! Not good.

The idea if sub-categories is no doubt awesome. It will facilitate all the employers and employees (freelancers).

After these changes, none of my gigs (I have 9 gigs) is not visible on search. I am an old fiverr user (level 2). If they are not visible on search it means I have not any sales!
I am new here I bought a gig but the seller sent wrong tin. And I requested to refund me but never respond to my MSG. What can I do?

Subcategories are AWESOME! I received 3 Gigs in one day after editing my Gigs. I received 3 more yesterday. 3 Gigs a day keeps my creative juices flowing.Thanks Fiverr.

It’s going to be really interesting to see what happens to the Sellers that have updated their gigs with subcategories in the coming month; I’m predicting less than ideal results. When you’re on top of the heap with a system that’s already working, why throw cogs into the wheel? Personally, I find the whole ‘subcategory’ system to be an attempt on Fiverr’s behalf at democratizing the Fiverr experience to try and spread the wealth around among Sellers and I’m sorry, but that isn’t what capitalism is about. There will be those of us who outperform others. The end.
From a buyers point of view this system is much much better as not only does this new system give ideas as to what can be found on Fiverr but also helps them find what they are looking for therefore increasing sales.
the selling got down no buyer seen, even though the fiverr got the less collection after the change of feature to subcategories.
the worst and the ineffective feature of the fiverr, disappointing, i request switch back to the previous version and remove the subcategory feature.
A great feature, really! Now buyers can find my gigs more easily!
Sigh :) im sure this is a GREAT upgrade, but i have to remake 10 to 20 gigs now. it wont let me edit them, so i have to remake them after 5000 gigs completed :| blaaah lol
