Another fantastic update, makes it so much easier to find the top gigs in the top categories, whilst giving new users more space on the category pages.

I’ve got great gigs and a 100% rating. Sure wish I could be featured!
It’s too bad that a buyer canceled the order on purpose. he was really unreasonable and irresponsible while i was trying to complete the gig. he chose my 1-day-gig and requested to do a complex work which needed at least 5 days. i told him already that i need more time but he told me it’s ok, he wouldnt vote thumb down. but as u can see, he DID VOTE THUMB DOWN and canceled the order due to late delivery. and my reputation now is only 96%. what can i do, fiverr??
from that day on, i set my gig for 3-5 days minimum

Just how do you get selected for a featured gig? Just by being creative enough?
Maybe fiverr should post standards so that everybody has a chance to get featured.

The new Fiver featured section looks indeed very nice. The buttons are also very helpful so that we can review the latest featured gigs on the website!
Are featured gigs only creative ones, as people speak above, or are they simply the best of their class in terms of ratings and quantity?
I wish my gig was featured. I have a pretty good conversion rate and it will kill, but I guess getting Featured isn’t that easy :)

Is there any rhyme or reason to how gigs are picked to be featured? With so many gigs being posted here, it is becoming more and more difficult to compete. Featured gigs might end up being a good additional source for gigs, provided that it’s completely random, and has nothing to do with how long a user or gig has been on Fiverr.
